[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]My name is Ed Adams. I am a life long Hoosier and graduate of Indiana State University and Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis. Following law school, I clerked for the Indiana Court of Appeals and then practiced law for 8 years. Since that time, I have been involved in Information Technology consulting.
I am a life long Republican, as that party best expresses my views. I do actively embrace many of the positions of the Republican party and the opinions here will reflect that. However, I base my views on facts and logic. I do not consider myself bound to any particular party line, talking points or philosophical viewpoint. Likewise, I am a conservative – socially and economically. However, I am always open to compelling argument and debate.
By faith, I am a Christian. My faith is important to me and certainly affects my world view. However, in this nation, we are free subscribe to any religion of our choice or to choose not to have a religion at all. Both of those concepts are subsumed within the concept of freedom of religion. Neither choice may be the subject of government compulsion or discrimination. I enjoy discussions of theology and will on occasion post discussions on issues of theology. While theology may shape cultural values and understandings, it is not the basis of government policy or action.
